The Mi-17 helicopter was on a mission to deliver relief supplies to flood-affected regions in Bajaur when it crashed in the Pandiyali area of the Mohmand district, as reported by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
The Chief Minister confirmed that among the deceased were two pilots, as stated by AFP. Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah mentioned that while bad weather was the primary cause of the crash, investigations are underway to determine if other factors contributed to the tragedy.
